flight_and_luggageWe can provide a limited number of vaccinations that you may need for travelling abroad;

  • Diptheria
  • Tetanus
  • Polio
  • Hep A
  • Hep B
  • Typhoid
  • Men ACWY

The vaccinations above can be administered by our Practice Nurses PLEASE BE AWARE THERE ARE CHARGES for some vaccines.

It is important to make this initial contact as early as possible - at least 3 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment may be required. Your second appointment may need to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

We would kindly ask that you complete the Travel Health Questionnaire (see below) and return it to the surgery. The nursing team will then telephone you to discuss the vaccination requirements and arrange for you to have an appointment at the surgery and advise you of any costs that you may incur.

If you require any vaccinations, not listed above, relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with a "Travel Clinic"  Newport Pagnell Medical Centre, (Tel 01908 619901) and Milton Keynes Village Practice (Tel 01908 393979) are both authorised clinics. There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below, or please visit or for more details.
